It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Orem (Colfax, Indiana), born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2019, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, David G. Sloan and Wanda Richmond. He is survived by : his parents, David Sloan and Staci Orem (Bolen); his son Jaxon Orem of Melbourne, FL; his sister Mindy (Adriana); his stepsisters, Mandy Russell of Anderson and Michelle Cross of Anderson; his grandparents, Ida Bolen of Colfax and P. J. Bolen (Rita) of Frankfort; his aunts and uncles, Glen Bolen, Terry Bolen, Sheri Hutchison, Nancy Krause and Virginia Castaneda; and his nephew Alex Bratton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in care of the family to assist with funeral expenses.
