Bette Jean Geddis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bette Jean Geddis of Columbia City, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bette Jean Geddis to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottorino Boreani and Naomi Boreani (Halliburton); her husband James Geddis; and her brother Jack Boreani. She is survived by: her children, Erin Toles (Jerry) of Columbia City, Kelly Geddis of Columbia City and Shannan Geddis of Columbia City; her grandchildren, Kelsey, James, Courtney, Austin and Aaliyah; her great grandchildren, Daxton and Lyla; and her brothers, Michael Boreani (Darlene) of Dumas, AR and Howard Boreani of Fort Wayne.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725).
Memorial contributions in memory of Bette may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
