She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Chaney and Florence Chaney (Aughinbaugh); her son Gene Edwin Thompson; and her siblings, Mary Ann Kuhn (Bill) and Wendell Chaney.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence E. "Tom" Thompson; and her children, Connie Thompson of LaValle, Carl Thompson (Sandy) of Columbia City, Kevin Thompson (Susie) of South Whitley, Kenneth Thompson of Wolcottville and Christina Workman (John) of Columbia City, Indiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Deloris to Laud Christian Church.
