It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Franklin Beard of Columbia City, Indiana, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Henry Franklin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Henry Franklin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Beard and Kathryne Beard (Mowery); and his sister Rosie Jane Treesh. He is survived by: his wife Deborah E. Garee; and his children, Marcia Didier (Darren) of Owenton, KY, Tracey Easterday (Art) of Huntington, Charyl Beard of Portland, OR and Richard Beard (Michelle) of Leesburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Henry's honor are to the Whitley County Community Foundation.
