She was predeceased by: her parents, Sevren Herl and Orva Jean Herl (Dougherty); her husband Patrick L. Elliot; her siblings, Blaine Terrell Herl and Susie Koerner; and her son-in-law Bruce Hazelton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leah Beck (Mark) of Columbia City and Trina Pauley (Ryan) of Beavercreek, Ohio; her grandchildren, Patrick Hazelton (Michelle), Katie Combs (Colten), Kylee Pauley, Sarah Campbell (Jeff) and Jessica Vargas (Oscar); and her siblings, Wayne Herl of Texas, Lana Moore (Mike) of Kansas and Karen Herl of Colorado. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Yeager Funeral Home (1589 Lincolnway S, Ligonier, IN 46767).
