She is survived by: her children, Greg Bennett (Esther) of Albion, Shirley Deermer (James) of Fort Wayne and Steve Bennett of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Isaac Bennett (Jordan), James Bennett, Elizabeth Gross (Will), Kimberly Brunn (Kyle) and Natalie Burke (Chris); and her siblings, Virginia Mills of Barbourville, KY, Otis Williams of Warsaw, Robert Williams of Columbia City and Georgia Kranzman of Angola. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Margie may be made to the Mayo Clinic or Alzheimer's Association.
