She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond John and Mildred Lucille Denzel (Blood); her husband John Louis Fries; her stepson Stephen Fries; and her brother Richard "Dick" Eugene Denzel.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Catherine Palmer (Gregg) of Columbia City; her granddaughter Olivia Palmer; her close friends, Kathy, Steve Linvill of Columbia City, Tyler, Katlin Schiff of Columbia City and Anastasia Morgan; and her pets, Lil Bean, Yettie and Tucker.
Preferred memorials are to Delta Kappa Gamma- Alpha Zeta Chapter.
