He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sr. Lawson and Vinnie Lawson (Graham); his wife Susan Kaye Lawson; and his brother Steve Lawson. He is survived by: his son Robert M. Lawson of Noblesville; his siblings, Pat Lawson of Park Hills, MO, Lester Jr. Lawson (Connie) of Park Hills, MO and Angie Rawl (Michael Davis) of Park Hills, MO; and his sister-in-law Debbie Lawson of Festus, MO. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home (600 Countryside Dr, Columbia City, IN 46725).
