With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Mae Macy (Columbia City, Indiana), who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Burns and Mildred Burns (Rigel); her son Mark E. Macy; and her brother Gene Burns. She is survived by : her spouse Thomas O. Macy; her son Kevin D. Macy (Julie) of Plainfield; her daughter-in-law Carol Macy; her grandchildren, Dawn Macy, Adam Macy (Adrienne), Brenden Macy (Natalie), Karlee Oliver (Bruce) and Carissa Macy; and her great grandchildren, Quintin Macy, Braiden Macy, Maddie Macy, Makayla Thomas, BruceLee Oliver, Jet Oliver, Parker Macy and Holland Macy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
