He was predeceased by: his parents, Reasy D. Smith and Gledith West Smith; and his daughter Danita Kay Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Lois Ann Roberts; his sons, Jeff Smith (Michele) of Columbus, Brian Smith (Cathy) of Indianapolis, Douglas Smith (Kathy) of Columbus, Michael Smith (Donna) of Brown County and Mark Smith (Linda) of Brown County; and his siblings, Willard Smith of Columbus, Ivan Smith (Diane) of Columbus, Jerry Smith (Risa) of Houston, Elma Trendelman (Ron) of Columbus, Lois Suiter (Don) of Shelbyville and Clara Rose of Columbus. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
