He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Fornshell; his children, Sam Patterson (Michelle) of Milroy and Chris Jarman of Rushville; his siblings, Dale Patterson of Rush County and Linda Lanter of St. Paul; and his daughter Kay Miller. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
