We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2024, at the age of 88, Anita Valerie Shatto (Columbus, Indiana) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita Valerie Shatto to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Dufresne and Blanche Lavall'ee Dufresne; her siblings, Judith Davis, Clement, Robert Dufresne, Fern Duchemin and Evelyn Croll; and her parents-in-law, Arthur and Mamie Shatto.

She is survived by : her husband Raymond L Shatto; her brother Norman Durfesne; her children, Debra Armuth (Kent Armuth), Richard Shatto, Janine Anderson (Chuck Anderson), Gregory Shatto (Kelly Shatto) and Jason Shatto; and her grandchildren, Chad Armuth, Christopher Armuth, Cole Armuth, Connor Armuth, Ryan Shatto, Sarah Kramp, Nichole Wilson, Noah Shatto, Paige Shatto and Coen Shatto. She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Bartholomew Catholic Church (1306 27th St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Bartholomew Catholic Church, or the American Cancer Society in Anita's name.
