She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob M. Crouch and Nellie M. Anderson Crouch; her husband Bernard E. "Gene" Pruitt; her daughters, Kathy D. Ford and Debra J. Pruitt; her brothers, Jacob and Floyd Crouch; and her half-siblings, Frank Baldwin, Freda Noel, Dorothy Eudy, Christine Bloom, Elsie Hayes, Helen Whittington and Beryl Rooney.
She is survived by: her children, Gary D. Pruitt (Julie) of Columbus and Sandra L. Gutzwiller (Ron) of Kokomo, Indiana; her grandchildren, Amanda Nye (Jeremy) of Columbus, Carly Pruitt (Kayla) of Charleston, Jacob Gutzwiller of Fort Wayne and Jenna Pruitt of Greenville; her son-in-law Rocky Ford of Columbus; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, John Henry, Noah, Emma, Ella Mae Nye and Mason Pruitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
