She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Sewell and Emily E. Wallace Sewell; her husband Larry W. Misner; her great grandchild Hope West; her nieces, Beth Ann Thayer-Sechrest and Lisa Owen; and her brother-in-law Stanley Owen.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Misner (Lynne) of Flower Mound, TX, Shelli Burton (David) of Columbus and Kelli Ross (Michael) of McClellanville, SC; her grandchildren, Cassie Myers (Justin) of Mason, OH, Katie Newton (Ben) of Isle, Mika Ross of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Krista West (Evan) of Charleston, SC, Noah Ross (Amanda) of McClellanville, SC, Matthew Misner of Seattle, WA and Megan Gonzalez (Christian) of Indianapolis; her great grandchildren, Jonah Newton, Owen Myers, Elsie Newton, Lucas Myers, Ethan Myers, Hadley Puig, Leah Ross, Jana Ross, Hazel West, Holden West and Parker Ross; and her sisters, Carolynn Thayer of Columbus, Janet Owen of Columbus and JoAnn Greenlee (Cliff) of Columbus. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246).
In memory of Betty's great granddaughter Hope Abigail West memorial contributions may be donated to You Keep Hope Alive at youkeephopealive.org or through the funeral home. Memorial contributions may also be donated to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Hope United Methodist Church.
