It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie S. Thompson (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on February 19, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Larcus Cobb and Clara Louise Posey Cobb; her husband Mack; her daughter Rebecca "Gail" Yates; her sisters, Mae Michael and Rebecca Cobb; and her grandson Mack A. Thompson, III.
She is survived by: her children, Mack Thompson Jr. (Ronda) of Gatlinburg and Alina Burton (Cliff) of Columbus; her siblings, Larcus "Jug" Cobb (Kay) of Columbus and Fran Stuckey of Navarre, Florida; and her grandchildren, Erikka Temple (Eric), Tyson Matney (Michelle), Cody Nay (Viki), Shelby Bennett, Harley Yates and Toni Bennett. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
