It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda D. Ballard Villa of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Ballard and Lillian F. Byrd Ballard; her husband Jacinto "John" Villa Jr.; her siblings, Charlie, Clifton Ballard and Betty Ison; and her brother-in-law Donald Ison.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Neal (Rodney) of Cave City, KY and Kelly Barton of Columbus; her grandchildren, Jordan Neal (Haley), Mayci Neal and Lillian Neal; her brother Gary Ballard (Debbie) of Hope; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
