She was predeceased by: her parents, Amick Reed Thompson and Marietta Thompson (Helt); her husband Martin Junior Ahlbrand; and her siblings, Dorothy (John Weddle) of Indianapolis and Donald C. (Mary Catherine) of Scipio.

She is survived by: her daughter Annette Elaine (Kent Cheever) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Lisa (Dean Immes) of Boca Raton, Floida, Julie (Marshall Cherry) of Aydlett and Gregory Cheever (Bart Gladstone) of Winter Garden, Florida; and her sister Jeanette (Rolland Fivecoat) of Elizabethtown, Indiana..
