He was predeceased by: his father Gary Coon. He is survived by: his mother Linda Ziegler Coon; his children, Matthew Gary Coon of Columbus and Meagen Coon of Lansing, Michigan.; his siblings, Scot Coon (Lilly) of Columbus and Amy Coon Boston (Ed) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Lilliann Coon of Columbus and Jonathon Coon of North Vernon.
