He was predeceased by: his parents, Zelbert Owen Pruett and Loucille Pucket Powell; and his sister Irma Pruett. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Spurgeon of Columbus, Richard Varvel (Christy Killmer) of Columbus and Regina Heagle (Kelly) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Hailey Spurgeon, Tanner Varvel, Arielle Beller, Alexandria Beller and Aaron Heagle; his great grandchild Jasmine Singleton; his siblings, Amanda Baldwin of Columbus and Roy Pruett (Teresa) of Columbus; and his former wife Carolyn Pruett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
