She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Wallace and Dorothy Wallace; her siblings, Bob Wallace, Bertha Ferguson and Bruce Wallace; her niece Dorothy Schwein; and her nephew Rob Wallace.

She is survived by : her husband Jim Battin; her sister Mary Morford; her daughters, Samantha Harpring (John) and Steffany VanEpps; her grandchildren, Jacob Harpring (Logan), Taylor VanEpps, Luke Harpring and Emma VanEpps; and her great grandchild Hadley Harpring. She is also survived by several nieces and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (512 7th St, Columbus, IN 47201).

Memorial contributions can be made to Just Friends Adult Day Services or Sonya's Dance Zone, where a scholarship fund has been set up in Charlotte's name. Donations can be made to the Dance Team Booster Club.
