It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarice Faye Whitis of Columbus, Indiana, born in Glasgow, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. P. Arterburn and Verda Mae Temple Arterburn; and her siblings, William D. Arterburn, Louis B. Arterburn, Catherine Arterburn, Lavoyce Arterburn and Betty Lou Spencer.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence B. Whitis; her children, Cheryl Motosicky (Rob) of Columbus, Terry Whitis (Jo Tabler) of Columbus, Troy Whitis (Lori) of Columbus, Sandra Perry (Don) of Columbus and Jason Whitis (Donna) of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Bradley Shofner (Kirsten), Brandon Shofner (Morgan), Clayton Motosicky, Dustin Whitis (Rachel), Cody Whitis (Erin), Jake Perry (Carissa), Joey Perry, Allison Bates, Kaylyn Bates, Megan Barnett (Nathan), Marissa Whitis, Makayla Whitis (Dakota Burton) and Brayden Whitis. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the church and masks are required.
