She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Sipes and Faye Iola Sipes; and her brother Billy Joe Sipes. She is survived by: her husband Terrin L. "Terry" Moir of North Vernon; her children, Specialist William Joseph Compton and Nikki Compton of Columbus; her siblings, Robbie Shaw (Jim) of Columbus, Curt Sipes (Marietta) and David Sipes (Cassie); her stepson Sir Anthony Moir of Cochran, Georgia; and her grandsons, Cassius Slater and Aleksander Lee Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
