He is survived by: his wife Linda Melcher; his children, Breana Haptonstall (Matt Clapp) of Columbus and Brent Haptonstall (Heather) of Mims, Florida; his grandchildren, Addison Green and Hayden Haptonstall; and his nephew Troy Haptonstall (Jenny) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
