It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy F. Slate of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Crouch and Nannie M. Floyd Crouch; her husband James G. Slate; and her brothers, John, Ferris and Wayne Crouch.
She is survived by: her children, David Slate (Michelle) of Connersville, Lisa Johnson (Jesse) of Columbus, Rebecca Slate of Columbus and Mark Slate (Denise) of Columbus; and her brother Bobby Crouch (Liz) of Louisville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
