She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl S. "Smoke" Bennett and Effie Wagner Bennett; her husband Norris Dale Renner; her daughter Eunice; her sons-in-law, Jesse Tays Jr. and Richard Harmon; her grandchildren, Kimberly East and Delmar Johnson; her great grandchild James Arthur; her brothers, Harley "Smoky" Bennett, John Bennett and Reverend Edward Bennett; her stepchildren, James, Randy, Cathy and Dennis Johnson; and her close friend Mae Welmer McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Don Barriger Jr. (Diane) of Hartsville, Melody Harmon of Muncie, Jonnette Robinson (Michael) of Nashville, Scott Bringle of Edinburgh and Earleen Dewar (Wesley Dale) of Schererville, Indiana; her stepchildren, Gary Johnson of Columbus, Perry Johnson of Washington State and Sandra Waters of Indianapolis, Indiana; and her stepdaughters-in-law, Nancy Johnson of Columbus and Lisa Johnson of North Vernon, Indiana. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people in the funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow social distancing guidelines and masks are required in the funeral home.
