She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Paul and Mildred Alberta Raber; her son Shannon D. Ford; and her great grandchild Cameron Zeigler. She is survived by: her husband Norman D. Ford Sr.; her children, Norman D. Ford Jr. (Jean), Kevin Ford (Stacy), Belinda Ford and Tracy Bundy (Ray); and her siblings, Robert Raber (Nancy) and Greta Nowling. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Donations in Dorothy's name may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
