He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary Alice Foist; his children, Bruce Muellenberg, Brent Muellenberg and Karen Muellenberg; and his siblings, Clarence Muellenberg, Dorothy Kalkman and Angela Dienslake.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Karen Matern (Casey) of Columbus, Robin Owen of Columbus, J. J. and Angela Beatty (Mister) of Muncie; and his sisters-in-law, Eva Mae McMillan and Eileen Bennett (Michael). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
