He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Otto and Adeline Artis Strahl; and his siblings, Dennis Strahl, Dale Strahl, Irene Bearry, Bernice Ketchum and Virginia Glasgow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Anderson (Walter) of Danville, Indiana Sandy Carpenter (Ron) of Lake City and Stephanie Shrader (Ray) of Columbus; and his siblings, James Strahl (Sue) of Orleans, Ransom Strahl (Joan) of Columbus, Louise Gearhardt of Greenwood and Dorothy Hatcher of Maryville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
