With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Christine Elkins of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on April 3, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Humphress and Ellen Reynolds Humphress; her husband William A. Elkins; her grandson Robbie Abbitt; and her siblings, Bobbie Humphress, Nannie Gabehart and Betty Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Liz Harper (Rick) of Columbus, Becky Elkins of Columbus, Brian Elkins (Annie) of Columbus and Billie Jo Abbitt (Robert) of Spencer, Indiana; and her brothers, Chuck Humphress (Becky) of Columbia and Dempsey Humphress (Linda) of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
