She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tolliver and Lula Mae Trumbo Tolliver; her husband George E. Lawson Sr.; her sons, Arthur "Eddie", Donald and Gary Lawson; her grandchildren, Chauncey Lawson, Donald Edmonds, Courtney and Brittany McDonald; her great grandchild Isiah Jemerson; and her siblings, Arthur Tolliver, Mable Anderson, Joseph Tolliver Jr., Maggie of Washington, Evelyn Sanders, Laura Stallworth and June Long.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lawson (Margaret) of Columbus, Ricky Lawson of Columbus, George Lawson (Twanette) of Columbus, Helen Ward of Columbus, Laura Edmonds of Tuscaloosa, Daisy McDonald of Columbus and Cassandra Nicholson (Bryan) of Columbus; and her sister Edna Booker of North Carolina. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
