He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Robert and Isabelle Barker (Burns); his sister Beverly Kay Tempest; his brother-in-law Alfred Junior Tempest; and his sister Carol Jean Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Barker (Harpring); his children, Katie Hanson (Aaron) of Columbus and Aaron Barker (Katie Meier) of Seattle, Washington.; and his siblings, Duane Barker (Janet) of Columbus and Marcia Schwering (Steve) of Rushville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
