He is survived by: his wife Martha Jean Ammerman; his daughters, Sara Beth Burriss (Will Kubiszewski) and Jana Lynn Burriss; his grandchildren, Eva Burriss, Daily Kubiszewski and Bobby Kubiszewski; his sister Jan Burriss; and his close friend Russ Hollinger.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make memorial donations to Crossroads Community Church, where Gary was a longtime member, to the Children's Wing. Donations may also be made to Good Shepherd radio WYGS.
