With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn Poynter of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cecil and Clementeen England Poynter; his grandson Dillan Lee Condra; his siblings, Ed and Patricia Poynter; and his sister-in-law Rosie Poynter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty K. Bragg; his children, David Poynter (Megan) of Pendleton, Connie Burton (Bill) of Columbus and Sandra Condra (Kevin) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Matthew Wooten, Brittany Ray (Patrick Cole), Lori Burton, Cierra, Skylar Condra and Pvt; his great grandchild Charlotte; his siblings, Arthur Von Poynter of Columbus, Louie Poynter (Katheryn) of Edmonton, Linda Appleby (Donald) of Glasgow, Terry Poynter (Linda) of Glasgow, Donnie Poynter (Donna) of Smith's Grove, Ronnie Poynter (Priscilla) of Glasgow, Kentucky, Winford Poynter (Charlene) of Glasgow, Kentucky and Roger Poynter (Judy) of Glasgow, Kentucky; his sister-in-law Pat Poynter of Edmonton, Kentucky; and also, Ruby, Bobby Scott of Columbus, Pearl Tartar of Louisville and Flossie Houchens of Indianapolis.
Due to the global pandemic, the family requires that all attendees wear masks and respect social distancing guidelines.
