He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gearhart and Mamie Gearhart; his siblings, Allen Henry, Melvin Gearhart and Bonnie Keller; his son Nathan Gearhart; and his grandsons, Michael Sciavillo and Josh Montgomery.
He is survived by: his wife Maurita Irene Embry; his children, Randy Gearhart (Teresa) of Hope, Lesa Sciavillo (Dan) of Port Chester, NY, Anne Reinle (Nat) of Hope, Jeff Gearhart (Pippa) of Columbus and Giovonna Everdeen (Bob) of Bulverde, TX; his grandchildren, Benjamin Gearhart (Annie), Jarod Gearhart (Katie), Zach Gearhart, Daniel Sciavillo, Spencer Reinle (Chelsea), Ashley Gearhart, Jason Gearhart (Whitney), L. J. Gearhart (Erica), Allison Everdeen (Travis Williamson), Jack Everdeen (Madison), Gage Everdeen, Steven Gearhart and Quintin Macy; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Gearhart, Gabriella Gearhart, Emma Reinle, Josie Bragg, Connor Gearhart, Addelyn Gearhart and Lucas Gearhart.
Due to the current COVID restrictions, a private service will be held at Norman Funeral Home with burial at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
