She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Ahlemann and Bessie Ahlemann (Stephenson); her husband Sherman Carter; and her siblings, William, Ralph, Thomas, Raymond, Charles Ahlemann, Dorothy Ahlemann, Ethel Strickland and Mary Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Roth (Danny), Rick Carter (Becky) and Anthony "Tony" Carter (Gail); and her sister Esther Johnson. She is also survived by Grandchildren, (23) Great Grandchildren and (9) Great, Great Grandchildren.
