With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Louise Ward of Columbus, Indiana, born in Owenton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Lawson Sr. and Frances L. Tolliver Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Anita Bennett and David Ward; her granddaughter Kiana Burns of Columbus; her former husband David D. Ward of Terre Haute; her siblings, George Lawson (Twanette) of Columbus, Jerry Lawson (Margaret) of Columbus, Ricky Lawson of Columbus, Daisy McDonald of Columbus, Cassandra Nicholson (Bryan) of Columbus, Juanita Harris of Columbus and Laura Kay Edmonds of Alabama; and her nieces and nephews, Britany, Courtney McDonald, Donald Edmonds and Chauncy Lawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that those attending the visitation or funeral service to wear masks.
