She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Burton and Maude Burton (Childers); her husband John Samuel "Sam" Perkins; her children, Shelley Anne Tichenor and Matthew Dale Perkins; and her great grandchild Andrew Craig Hooker.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Moore (Mike) of North Vernon, Mark Perkins (Yolanda) of Memphis, Jay Perkins and John Perkins (Brenda) of Newbern; and her grandchildren, Doris Hooker (Craig), Johnny Perkins (Lora), Tabitha Lucas (Eric), Samantha Greenlee (Zach), Luke Perkins (Brooke), Eli Perkins, Cody Clouse, Emily Perkins, Chris Perkins, Amy Murphy, Anne Daily (Stewart), April Linne, Kristy Holcomb, Shawn Moore and Jeff Moore. She is also survived by her 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 p. m. until time of service at 2:00 p. m. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are recommended.
