She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sluder and Dora Campbell Sluder; her husband Lawrence L. Compton; and her siblings, Elmer, Winfrey, Doyle, Ray, Opal, Edith and Audrey.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Shivley (Jeanie) of Campbellsville, Debra Lawson of Bristol, Virginia, Anthony Wayne of Bristol, Shaun Cunningham (Matt) of Bristol, Theresa Maya (Joe) of Gate City, Shelly Bryant of Commiskey, Shannon Thomas of Seymour and Sonny Thomas of Seymour; and her brothers, Bill, Coy and Wayne Sluder. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
