He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Butler and Jean J. Carmichael Butler. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Hall (Eugene) of Carbondale, Charles Butler (Martha) of Columbus and Rebecca Weimer (Steve) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his nieces and nephews, Angela Butler of Houston, Christiana Butler of Gilroy, Alexa McGriff (Jarrett) of Atlanta, Georgia, Caley Lambert of Findley, Cameron Lambert (Becca) of Nashville and Roman Lambert of Oakland Park, Florida; and his uncle Donald Butler (Judy) of Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music Department at First United Methodist Church.
