He is survived by: his father Hershel Hicks of Lewisville, Texas; his children, Crystal Lawrence of Columbus, Jackie Lacey (David) of North Vernon and Robert Hicks of Columbus; his siblings, Roanne Martinez (Keith) of Kingwood, Sylvana Lane (Kenneth) of Heartland, Texas, Vincent O'Merry (Mercedes) of Chula Vista and Joseph Hicks of Abilene, Texas; and his half-brother Hershel Hicks of Lewisville, Texas..
