With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Denton (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on April 3, 2018 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence West and Jennie West Cox (Summer); her brothers, Warren West, Wayne West and Michael West; her stepfather Merle Cox; and her nephews, Darby Myers and Jeremy Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband James E. "Jim" Denton; her siblings, Darrel "Slick" West (Melissa Cooper), Elma Moss (Frank) and Arlene Jones (Greg); her stepbrother Dave Cox (Mary); and her nieces and nephews, Mark Whitecotton (April), Chad Whitecotton (Ann), Jay West (Angie), Jody Thomas, Jamey West (Misty), Mindy Bowling (Ted), Misty McCarty (Matt), Kiley Brooks (Casey), David Cox (Valerie) and Kimberly Cox Watley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cancer Center at Columbus Regional Hospital.
