He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Scudder and Elizabeth Scudder; his adoptive parent Veraldo Deiwert; his wife Sheila Redman; his children, Theresa Deiwert and Jerry Lynn Deiwert; and his brothers, Paul Young, Kerry Leland Hull and John Deiwert. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
