He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry W. Comer Sr. and Barbara Neil Lytle Comer; his nephews, Derek and Dustin Jones; his grandparents, Robert, Lorraine Lytle, Floyd Comer and Regina Cochran; and his mother-in-law Noel Franke.
He is survived by: his wife Julie E. Franke; his daughters, Elle of Columbus and Gracie Hatton of Columbus; his sisters, Cindy Jones (Terry) of Scottsburg and Shawn Comer (Bobbie Gourley) of Scottsburg; his father-in-law Bob Franke of Columbus; and his sisters-in-law, Jill Arnholt (Gary) of Columbus, Jennifer Eggers (Chris) of Columbus and Janae Norman (Steve) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
