He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Mabe and Rosella Kinsey Mabe; and his brothers, Jack Shehan, Donald Mabe and Kelly Mitchner.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Daren Mitchner (Olivia) and Shelby Mitchner; his grandsons, Kyle Johns (Brianna) of Columbus and Daren Mitchner Jr. of Columbus; and his sister-in-law Emily Mabe.
