It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jettie M. Vandiver in Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jettie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jettie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
