We bid farewell to Jewell Daisy Ping-Taylor (Columbus, Indiana), born in Hannibal, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Jewell Daisy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jasper Head and Mary E. Head-Hill (Miles); her husband Lloyd M. Ping; her stepfather Delmas Hill (Doc); and her brothers-in-law, Larry Cox, Tom Kelsay and Milton Wallace.

She is survived by : her children, Allen Ping (Linda), Gary Ping (Charmella), Susan Perkinson (Gene), Jeff Ping (Toni), Ronald Ping, Kendall Ping and Steven Ping (Heather); her siblings, Margeret Cox, Roberta Wallace and Donald Head (Bertha) of Greensburg, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, Raedy Ping (Steve), Cory Ping (Amanda), Kylaina Walker (Mike), Branson Ping (Lauren), Josh Perkinson, Kristina Perkinson-Doran, Leland Gene Jr. Perkinson (Shannon), Loretta, Renata Mize, Dustin Ping, David Ping (Shelby), Leah Ross (Tyler), Lynsey Ping (Joe), Larrisa Ping (Austin), Nikki Davis, Kendra Ping-Farabaugh (Adam), Kensie Turner (Shane), Courtney Nolting (Victor) and Keith Ping. She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
