He is survived by: his wife Judy Lind of Columbus; his children, Jennifer Smith (Jack), Amy Klohr (Chris), John Jr. and Bonnie Tucker (Billy); his stepchildren, Susan Sullivan (Jerry) and Tim Schulz (Staci); and his grandchildren, Andrea, Molly, Tracy, Emily, Jessica, Joseph, Hannah, Bridget and Matthew.
