It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Battin of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John E. Battin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas E. Battin and Thelma M. Steinbarger Battin. He is survived by: his brother Jim Battin (Charlotte) of Columbus; his nieces, Samantha Harpring (John) of Columbus and Steffany VanEpps of Columbus; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Harpring of Tampa, Luke Harpring of Columbus, Taylor VanEpps of Chicago and Emma VanEpps of Columbus.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we are limited to 50 people the funeral home. We do ask that visitors follow social distancing guidelines and masks are required once inside the funeral home.
