He is survived by: his spouse Lisa; his children, Phoenyx Michaels of Columbus, Ian Michaels (Ashly) of Columbus, Rhianna Michaels of Columbus and Amber Burris of Decatur; and his siblings, Marie Stephens, Janiece Sterling (Mark) and Richard Kunze. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
