She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Wilhite and Hilda Wilhite (Huston); her husband Donald R. Young; and her brothers, Charles Wilhite, Jack Wilhite and Bill Wilhite.
She is survived by: her children, Vic Young (Betsy) of Germantown and Nancy Gevecker (Jim) of The Villages, Florida; her grandchildren, Kathryn Chowdhury (Jeeshan) of San Francisco, Scott Deemer (Brittany) of Mesa, Ashley Weber (Nathan) of Troy and Justin Gevecker of St. Louis, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Deemer, Kinsley Weber and Kali Weber.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Columbus Firemen's Cheer Fund.
